Visual Designer, Junior

Key Role:

Assist with the design and development of graphics and illustrations for use in digital media materials, including print and Web. Assist with the operation of standard computer hardware and software to prepare, revise, print, and store text, illustrations, graphs, and charts. Assist with basic illustration and detail from models, sketches, memory, written or verbal instructions, and imagination. Provide selected type, draw lettering, layout materials, and perform related duties under direct supervision. Assist in collaborating with clients and colleagues on style, technique, and medium best suited to meet client objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

-1+ years developing innovative digital designs for clients, including Web and print

-Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign

-Experience with Microsoft Office

-Experience working with colleagues and clients to refine concepts through to finished product

-Knowledge of design principles and typography

-Ability to conceptualize graphics and information design

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of HTML and CSS

-Possession of excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BA or BS in design
